, ,Position: Safety Internship for Students -Spring 2025 (part-time)
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Pay Range: $19 - $22 per hour
The Superior Group is looking for highly motivated and energetic students to participate in the TSG Co-Op or internship program during the Spring 2025 term (February - May). We rely on our interns to provide support to our teams on critical projects while fostering a culture of continuous learning and inclusion as you bring fresh ideas to the table.
Under the guidance of our Safety team, you’ll work alongside our Safety Managers and National Safety Director, gaining experience on all aspects of safety from large high profile construction projects to small service jobs. You will be supporting safety team initiatives, and helping to influence field leadership and teams on safety protocols. We also host in-house workshops to help you develop workplace and safety-specific skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in daily walk through of safety audits on large construction sites and helps ensure compliance with government rules & regulations
- Assist in the completion of audits or daily reports describing activities completed, critical conversations, and issues, etc
- Help create, maintain, and update documentation and forms
- Assist with training, and new Safety Professionals onboarding as needed
- Collaborate with the safety team on training programs and initiatives to grow safety culture onsite
- Create and distribute site specific Toolbox Talks
- Help to organize PPE in multiple locations onsite
- Assist with creating safety reports for the multiple projects

Education
Required: You must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Construction Safety or related field
