Position: Senior Estimator
Reports to: Director, Estimating
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Pay Range: $100,000 - $150,000

Superior is seeking a Senior Estimator who will be responsible for interpreting drawings, reading specifications, and conducting takeoff of electrical items. The ideal candidate must have the willingness to adapt to new technology, have strong technical and communication skills, and work well in a team environment. This role is based at our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs of electrical items, consisting of light fixtures, branch power devices and fire alarm devices
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely submission of proposals 
• Lead coordination with internal teams to ensure alignment of scope across all assigned projects 
• Conduct site visits to understand practical field installation requirements
• Coordinate with the project management team to align change order strategy with overall project financial goals

• You demonstrate leadership by guiding others and providing clarity on what needs to be done

Your Expertise

• Required: You have at least 5 years of experience in commercial construction estimating
• Bonus Points: You earned an Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field
• Bonus Points: You have experience using Accubid and/or Bluebeam
• Bonus Points: You have experience in electrical commercial construction
