Position: Legal Coordinator
Reports to: Risk Manager
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Pay Range: $25 - $35 per hour

Superior is looking for a highly organized Legal Coordinator to support the daily operations of our Legal and Risk Management team. The Legal Coordinator will play an essential role in contract coordination, document management, and compliance tracking, while supporting broader legal initiatives across the company. This role is based at our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and track contract review requests to ensure timely routing and completion
  • Conduct initial reviews of incoming contract requests to confirm all required documentation is included (prime contract, exhibits, etc.)
  • Set up and maintain project folders and files, ensuring consistent naming conventions and document organization
  • Coordinate Certificate of Insurance (COI) requests in partnership with the Risk Manager
  • Follow up with project teams to collect fully executed contracts, change orders, and related documents
  • Accept, scan, and distribute incoming mail and legal correspondence as needed
  • Track and maintain records for Notices of Furnishing and Notices of Commencement
  • Support internal pre qualification processes and monitor submissions for accuracy and completion
  • Track information requests related to insurance renewals and audits
  • Organize and draft internal education and training materials for Legal and Risk-related topics
  • Update and maintain forms, templates, and shared resources across company platforms
  • Coordinate the DocuSign process for all subcontracts, ensuring execution and tracking through a centralized system
  • Provide support with document collection and organization for various legal matters

Your Expertise

  • Required: You have at least 2 years of experience in administrative, legal, or contract coordination roles
  • Required: You’re proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems
  • Bonus Points: You have experience with DocuSign or contract lifecycle management systems
  • Bonus Points: You have supported managerial roles in a construction, corporate, or law firm environment
  • Bonus Points: You are a notary in the State of Ohio
